Medical Malpractice Defense
Scope of Practice
Bell, Moore & Richter, S.C. has a long-standing and well-deserved reputation as one of the leading Medical Malpractice defense firms in Wisconsin. For decades, our attorneys have successfully defended medical professionals practicing in a broad range of specialties and against a wide variety of claims, with a special focus on birth injury lawsuits. We have defended claims in State and Federal courts as well as before the State Medical Examining Board and Medical Mediation Panel.
In addition to representing individuals–physicians, hospital staff, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, and midwives–we have successfully defended clinics, hospitals, medical insurers, and other health care entities. Our attorneys have the specialized knowledge required in medical malpractice cases and over the years have shown the ability to clearly explain complex medical concepts and issues to juries, judges, and other parties.
The breadth of our experience and our ability to evaluate and convey the complicated medical evidence that characterizes medical malpractice claims allows us to defend and win cases in which exposure and emotions often run high.
